Twitch announced on October 20, 2026 that viewers can get one free month of Apple TV plus two Ted Lasso-themed chat badges by making a qualifying new sub or gift sub during the promo window. The offer runs from October 20, 2026 at 12:00 PM PT through November 3, 2026 at 12:00 PM PT, and Twitch says it applies on any channel on Twitch.tv where Subs are sold.
Twitch says the eligible purchases are limited to one new subscription or gift subscription of any tier on any channel. The qualifying Twitch purchases are new monthly subs (any tier), multi-month subs (3-month, 6-month), and gift subs (any tier for any number of months). Prime subs and existing recurring subs do not qualify. Twitch also says the badge reward is awarded on the first subscription purchased under the offer, so viewers do not earn extra badge sets by making multiple qualifying purchases.
After a qualifying purchase, Twitch sends a redemption code to the user’s Twitch notifications inbox and also makes it available on the Drops & Rewards Inventory page. That code must be redeemed on Apple’s redemption site by November 3, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT. Twitch says the code is redeemable only for people who are not currently subscribed to Apple TV, which it describes as “new and qualified returning users.” Twitch’s posted terms also say the offer may only be redeemed once per user and may not be resold.
Apple’s terms, as quoted by Twitch, say an Apple TV subscription is required, the subscription renews at the region’s monthly price until canceled, and the user needs an Apple Account with a payment method on file. Twitch also says the offer is valid only in the countries listed in the announcement and only where Twitch Subs are available for sale.
This is a viewer-facing purchase offer, not a creator-only program. Twitch says it works on any channel on Twitch.tv, so streamers do not need a special category event to mention it. For small and midsize channels, the safest approach is to explain the rules clearly: only eligible new or gift subs count, Prime subs do not count, and the Apple TV code has to be redeemed separately after the Twitch purchase.
Twitch also says it reserves the right to modify or cancel the offer at any time. That makes it especially important to describe the promotion exactly as published and avoid implying that every sub type, every region, or every viewer qualifies.
If you frame the promo exactly as Twitch published it, you avoid overstating the reward or confusing the difference between earning the code, redeeming it, and starting the Apple TV subscription.
